• To welcome an exclusively adult clientele (16+)
•  Not to open the gîtes for friendly or family gatherings, particularly festive events or celebrations

Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, or with friends (up to 4 people), you will find a place where you can feel at ease in a setting that is both convivial and restful.

A Family Heritage Welcoming Travelers from Around the World

The creation of our gîtes and guest rooms is the result of a human adventure. We inherited this place: a former farmhouse with its courtyard, surrounded by the manor house and its outbuildings, where we have arranged the gîtes and the guest room.

Since 2011, exchanges with our guests have enriched our vision and helped us refine our offer.

• Domaine des Ormeaux is above all a family home, passed down from generation to generation since the 17th century. We are happy to share its history, traditions, and our attachment to this place
• Hospitality is an essential value for us: warm welcomes, attentive listening, conviviality, and the art of living in Périgord! We love to share our recommendations on the best restaurants and advise you on discovering the Dordogne-Périgord.
• We also understand the constraints of modern life (stress, noise, lack of sleep): this is why we designed the Domaine as a haven of peace, conducive to rest and rejuvenation.

Although each accommodation is designed to respect your privacy, we enjoy sharing warm moments with our guests.

The Salle Conviviale, with its large terrace overlooking the countryside, is a special place where we can welcome and meet our guests.

Our Four-legged Companions

We have dogs and cats, who are an integral part of the house. They are very friendly and often much appreciated by our guests.

We prefer to inform guests in advance in case of allergies or if they feel uncomfortable around animals.

The Domaine is nestled on a hillside, just 1 km from Ajat, a village “where time seems to stand still” and well worth a visit.

Located in Périgord Noir, on the border of Périgord Blanc and Vert, it offers an ideal location:

• Close enough to the must-see sites to explore the whole Dordogne easily
•  Far enough away to avoid the crowds and savor tranquility
